Falcons 'uncertain' if Julio Jones will play Week 6
Atlanta Falcons receiver Julio Jones may not be able to play in the team's Thursday night game.
The Falcons are "uncertain" if Jones (hamstring) will be able to play, ESPN's Adam Schefter reports. Jones has missed a ton of practice reps the past couple weeks with the hamstring issue and had it flare up late last week before he played through the issue against the Washington Redskins. He didn't look any worse for the wear against Washington, but on a short week, the Falcons may not be able to get Jones ready. Jones didn't practice Monday and may not at all this week.
Jones came into Week 5 as the second-highest receiver in Reception Net Expected Points with 42.50. He also has the second-most targets of any wide receiver in the league through four weeks of action, behind just the Houston Texans' DeAndre Hopkins. If Jones is out, Jacob Tamme, Leonard Hankerson and Roddy White would see an increased role.
