Browns' Joe Thomas says retirement decision is 'right around the corner'
Cleveland Browns left tackle Joe Thomas said his decision on whether he'll play or retire is "right around the corner."
There's a possibility that we get an update as soon as Wednesday afternoon, when the official league year begins. For what it's worth, Thomas said he's "excited" about the Browns' recent moves but added that the decision's based on his own health. Cleveland signed Chris Hubbard as insurance in the event Thomas opts to retire.
Thomas is a 6-time All-Pro and rated as the league's 4th-best tackle in 2017, per Pro Football Focus.
