Buccaneers ink Mike Evans to five-year extension
According to ESPN's Adam Schefter, Tampa Bay Buccaneers wide receiver Mike Evans has signed a five-year, $82.5 million extension.
The deal includes $55 million in guaranteed money and will keep Evans, 24, under contract until 2023. Evans is only the second-highest play receiver in the league behind Antonio Brown of the Pittsburgh Steelers.
This past season, Evans totaled 71 catches, 1,001 yards and 5 touchdowns in 15 games. He has four straight 1,000-yard seasons through 4 professional seasons.
