Jordan Reed not practicing with Washington Wednesday
Washington tight end Jordan Reed (concussion, ankle, knee) is not practicing Wednesday.
Reed suffered a concussion in Week 4, forcing him to leave the game, while also dealing with a sprain in one knee and one ankle. He should not be counted on for Week 5, though there is no firm timeline.
This could leave additional volume for tight end Derek Carrier, who has been targeted 19 times the past two years, resulting in 10.26 Reception Net Expected Points (NEP). Washington will be facing the Atlanta Falcons in Week 5, who rank 21st in Adjusted Defensive Passing NEP per play. Carrier is an option in deeper leagues if you are in need of tight end.
