Case Keenum reportedly may receive franchise tag from Vikings
Minnesota Vikings quarterback Case Keenum may receive the franchise tag this offseason, according to Ian Rapoport of NFL Network.
Per Rapoport, there is a "possibility" the Vikings tag Keenum as the two sides haven't negotiated "at all." That would net him a salary north of $20 million in 2018, which would be a significant leap from his current $2 million price tag. Tag or no tag, Rapoport believes Keenum will be back in Minnesota next season. Sam Bradford and Teddy Bridgewater are both scheduled to become unrestricted free agents this offseason.
numberFire's models project Keenum to score 16.8 FanDuel points at a cost of $8,000 in Sunday's NFC Championship Game against the Philadelphia Eagles, with 255.1 passing yards, 1.48 touchdowns, and 1.0 interceptions.
