Buccaneers considering release of Kyle Brindza
The Tampa Bay Buccaneers will consider cutting kicker Kyle Brindza this week, according to Adam Schefter of ESPN.
Kyle Brindza missed two field goals and an extra point in Week 4 against the Carolina Panthers. His days in Tampa Bay are likely finished. Josh Scobee, who was released by the Pittsburgh Steelers on Saturday, could be an option.
Brindza has now missed six field goals and two extra points in the last three weeks, and his Buccaneers have the second-lowest field goal completion percentage in the NFL so far. Scobee's 60.0 percent rate is barely better.
