Tyron Smith (back) and La'El Collins (back) on right track for Cowboys in Week 14
The Dallas Cowboys are "optimistic" that offensive tackles Tyron Smith (questionable, back) and La'El Collins (questionable, back) are expected to play in Week 14 against the New York Giants, according to NFL Network's Ian Rapoport.
The Cowboys will have to test both out in warmups before making a final call. Having Smith and Collins on the bookends of the line would be good news for quarterback Dak Prescott. Despite Collins not having practiced the last two weeks, he should continue to play through his back issues.
Despite the incoming help in pass protection, our models project Prescott for just 204.8 passing yards, 1.3 touchdowns, and 0.5 interceptions on 30.6 attempts in Week 14. That would be good for 16.5 fantasy points at a salary of $7,700 – the 18th-highest quarterback projection this week.
