Greg Olsen (foot) officially inactive as Panthers face the Saints
Carolina Panthers tight end Greg Olsen (foot) is inactive for Week 1's matchup with the New Orleans Saints.
What It Means:
Olsen experienced renewed soreness in his surgically repaired foot last week and missed practice for the Panthers. The team is calling the move precautionary and expect Olsen to be able to play in Week 14. Ed Dickson will start at tight end on Sunday.
Olsen has caught 4 passes for 38 yards on 10 targets in 3 games this season.
