Bears release Connor Barth after miss at end of Sunday's loss
The Chicago Bears waived kicker Connor Barth.
What It Means:
Barth missed a 46-yarder at the end of regulation that would have forced overtime in a 27-24 loss to the Detroit Lions on Sunday. The Bears signed Cairo Santos, formerly of the Kansas City Chiefs, to take over at kicker.
Barth made 11-of-16 field-goal (68.8 percent) and all 17 extra points in 10 games this season.
