Paxton Lynch promoted to second on Broncos' depth chart
Denver Broncos quarterback Paxton Lynch has been promoted to second on the depth chart ahead of Trevor Siemian.
Lynch will be active for the first time all season in Week 11 against the Cincinnati Bengals. He's behind Brock Osweiler for now, but last year's first-round pick is expected to take over sooner rather than later for a Broncos team that has little hopes of making the postseason.
In three games (two starts) as a rookie last year, Lynch completed 49-of-83 passes for 497 yards with 2 touchdowns and 1 interception.
