Ameer Abdullah scores goal-line touchdown, fumbles twice in Lions' win
Detroit Lions running back Ameer Abdullah rushed 21 times for 48 yards and 1 touchdown with 2 fumbles (1 lost) in a 30-17 win over the Green Bay Packers on Monday Night Football in Week 9.
Abdullah also turned his 1 target into a catch for 9 yards while seeing at least 20 carries for just the second time this season. The touchdown was an encouraging short-yard score after Abdullah pushed for more scoring opportunities last week, but he also fumbled twice, including at the one-yard line when the Lions were trying to get him in for another score. After that, it was all Theo Riddick and Dwayne Washington the rest of the way for Detroit. It's tough to say what type of workload Abdullah will see against the Cleveland Browns in Week 10.
numberFire's project Abdullah for 9.4 FanDuel points at a cost of $6,300 versus the Browns, with 45.0 rushing yards, 17.0 receiving yards, and 0.35 touchdowns on 15.2 touches (2.2 catches). He's the RB22 in our Week 10 fantasy rankings.
