Jamison Crowder (hamstring) suggests he will sit for Washington in Week 9
Washington Redskins wide receiver Jamison Crowder (hamstring, questionable) implied he may sit out against the Seattle Seahawks to avoid a long-term injury.
Crowder admitted he doesn't want to risk further injuring his hamstring and "have it linger the rest of the season." He missed practice all week but Washington intends to have him go through a workout on Saturday before making a decision on his Week 9 status. If Crowder sits, that could mean more looks for Terrelle Pryor, Josh Doctson, and Ryan Grant.
Accounting for the injury if he does suit up, numberFire's models conservatively project Crowder for 3.7 targets, 2.3 catches, 22.5 yards, and 0.12 touchdowns versus the Seahawks, which would yield 4.3 FanDuel points at a cost of $5,600. He's fallen outside the top-60 wideouts in our Week 9 fantasy rankings.
