Lions Golden Tate (shoulder) did not practice on Monday

Detroit Lions wide receiver Golden Tate (shoulder) is not expected to play in Week 8.

What It Means:

Tate did not practice on Monday, and was reportedly still in a sling as of Saturday. The Lions haven't given a specific timetable for when he will return. He injured his shoulder in Week 6 against the New Orleans Saints.

In six games this year, Tate has caught 36-of-47 targets for 363 yards and 2 touchdowns.
