Update: Luke Kuechly (concussion) doesn't practice for Panthers Thursday
Carolina Panthers linebacker Luke Kuechly (concussion) did not practice on Thursday.
An earlier report said Kuechly was limited. He was seen with his helmet heading to practice but apparently wasn't able to get in any meaningful work. The Panthers' star linebacker remains in the NFL's concussion protocol for what would be his third concussion in the past three seasons.
If he plays, numberFire's models project Kuechly to record 8.6 tackles, 0.1 sacks, 0.2 pass deflections, 0.1 interceptions, and 0.1 recovered fumbles in Week 7. The Panthers currently rank 9th in schedule-adjusted Defensive Net Expected Points allowed per play.
