DeShone Kizer officially named Browns' starter for Week 7
Cleveland Browns quarterback DeShone Kizer has been named the starting quarterback for Week 7 against the Tennessee Titans, Hue Jackson confirmed.
Kevin Hogan failed to provide an upgrade for the Browns on Sunday as they fell to 0-6 on the year. Kizer provides more upside and was taken in the second round of this year's NFL Draft, so it makes sense for Jackson to give him more time to develop. The rookie has completed 81-of-159 passes (50.9 percent) for 3 touchdowns and 9 interceptions while adding 126 yards and 2 touchdowns on the ground. Cleveland faces the Tennessee Titans in Week 7.
numberFire's models project Kizer to score 16.5 FanDuel points at a cost of $6,400 in Week 7, making him the QB17 in our weekly fantasy rankings. He's averaging 11.5 FanDuel points in five games this season.
