Cowboys' Ezekiel Elliot granted temporary restraining order, can play in Week 7
Dallas Cowboys running back Ezekiel Elliot has been issued a temporary restraining order and will be able to play in Week 7, per Kate Hairopoulos of the Dallas Morning News.
Here we go again. Elliott's suspension is on hold once again as the back has until October 30 to argue his case before Judge Katherine Fallia can rule on his motion when she returns from vacation the day before Halloween. That means Elliott will likely be able to play in Week 8 as well. So hold off on those Alfred Morris and Darren McFadden waiver claims for now as this suspension saga continues to live.
Elliott has rushed for 393 yards and 2 touchdowns while adding 134 yards and 1 touchdown through the air this season. He faces the NFL's 26th-ranked defense in the San Francisco 49ers on Sunday.
