Bears' Danny Trevathan has suspension reduced to one game
Chicago Bears linebacker Danny Trevathan has had his two-game suspension reduced to one, per ESPN's Field Yates.
The NFL slapped Trevathan with a two-game suspension for violating the league's policy on player safety. The violation was a result of a helmet-to-helmet hit on Green Bay Packers wide receiver Davante Adams on Thursday night. Adams suffered a concussion on the play. For Trevathan, he'll be eligible to return in Week 6 against the Baltimore Ravens, but for now Jonathan Anderson should replace him at the inside linebacker position.
Trevathan has totaled 29 tackles and a pass defense through 4 games. He's projected for 84.8 tackles, 3.4 pass defenses and 0.5 sacks over the remainder of the 2017 season.
