Giants' Olivier Vernon's (ankle) MRI comes back negative
New York Giants defensive lineman Olivier Vernon's (ankle) MRI came back negative.
Vernon says he hopes to practice on Wednesday. He missed 17 snaps in Week 3 against the Philadelphia Eagles after injuring his ankle. It sounds like he will be fine versus the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in Week 4.
numberFire's models project Vernon for 3.5 tackles, 0.5 sacks, 0.1 pass deflections, 0.2 fumbles forced, and 0.1 fumbles recovered in Week 4. The Giants currently rank 16th in schedule-adjusted Defensive Net Expected Points per play.
