Rob Kelley

Jay Gruden: Rob Kelley (ribs) is Redskins' top back when healthy

Regarding the role of Washington Redskins running back Rob Kelley, head coach Jay Gruden said, "He got [78] yards rushing in a quarter and a half last week, so he's still our No. 1 lead dog."

What It Means:

Kelley practiced all week only to miss the team's Sunday night meeting with the Oakland Raiders. He is expected to resume practice on Thursday and should be available Monday night against the Kansas City Chiefs. And, despite the success of Chris Thompson (188 yards and a touchdown) in Week 3, he is expected to see the bulk of touches in the Washington backfield.

On 22 rushes, Kelley has produced 108 yards and 1.95 rushing Net Expected Points on the year. At a cost of $5,500, he's projected for 12.8 rushes and 10.9 FanDuel points in his return.
