Darren Sproles out indefinitely for Eagles with broken arm
Philadelphia Eagles running back Darren Sproles suffered a broken arm Week 3 against the New York Giants, reports NFL Network's Ian Rapoport.
Sproles is out indefinitely, and according to Rapoport, the Eagles may opt to place him on injured reserve. Wendell Smallwood figures to benefit the most with Sproles out, but LeGarrette Blount and Corey Clement should see more opportunity as well. The veteran back gained 11 yards on 3 rush attempts in Week 3 before going down.
Through three games this season, Sproles has 134 combined offensive yards on 22 touches (7 catches).
