Kelvin Benjamin injures knee, won't return for Panthers
Carolina Panthers wide receiver Kelvin Benjamin (left knee) has been ruled out for the remainder of Sunday's game against the New Orleans Saints.
Benjamin is likely facing a multi-week absence after suffering a knee injury in the first quarter of Sunday's matchup. Devin Funchess will operate as the Panthers' number-one receiver moving forward.
Benjamin finishes Week 3 with 2 catches on 2 targets for 8 yards. Per numberFire Live, he earned 1.02 Reception Net Expected Points, meaning a league average wide receiver would have scored 1.02 fewer points than Benjamin did if put in similar situations.
