Mike McCarthy says Jordy Nelson (quad) should be fine for Sunday
Coach Mike McCarthy said he expects Jordy Nelson (quad) to be able to play Week 3 against the Bengals.
Nelson injured his quad in the first quarter of Sunday's loss to the Atlanta Falcons and was unable to return, but he's practiced in full this week and seems ready to play against the Bengals in Week 3. The 32-year-old wideout hauled in 7 catches on 8 targets for 79 yards and a touchdown in the opener before coming up empty in Week 2 due to the injury.
numberFire's models project Nelson for 5.4 receptions (on 8.6 targets), 69.7 yards and 0.65 touchdowns at home against the Bengals. He's the WR7 in our Week 3 fantasy rankings and is expected to turn in 13.6 FanDuel points at a cost of $8,400.
