Vikings' Kyle Rudolph a top-3 value at tight end this week

Minnesota Vikings tight end Kyle Rudolph is projected for 4.3 catches, 47.2 yards and 0.37 touchdowns against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in Week 3.

What It Means:

With the Vikings' quarterback situation up in the air, Rudolph's Week 3 usage is right there with it. On the receiving end of backup quarterback Case Keenum, Rudolph hauled in 4-of-6 targets for 45 yards this past week. But, on the flip side, the Vikings' offense is clearly better with Sam Bradford under center. That could mean more red zone opportunities for Rudolph, who caught a touchdown pass in Week 1 against the Saints. Either way, Rudolph should remain a viable option this week at home.

The Buccaneers sport an improved defense so things won't come easy. But, still, we project Rudolph for 9.0 FanDuel points at a cost of $5,400, making him the 3rd-best point-per-dollar play through the eyes of our algorithms.
