Vikings' Case Keenum 'disappointed' in Week 2 performance
Minnesota Vikings quarterback Case Keenum said that he was "disappointed" in his Week 2 performance against the Pittsburgh Steelers.
After getting the nod Sunday morning in Pittsburgh, Keenum went on to complete 20-of-37 passes for just 167 yards. He didn't turn the ball over, but he failed to create a touchdown as the Vikings' offense produced just over half (237 yards) of what they produced in Week 1. But, with Sam Bradford (knee) reportedly feeling better Keenum might not be asked to step in again for the Vikings.
As of right now, we project Keenum for just 1.2 completions, 11.9 yards and 0.05 touchdowns as the backup to Bradford. That may change with Bradford's status, but at this point in time there's no reason to roster him at $6,000 in Week 3 against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
