Paul Perkins finishes with 22 yards from scrimmage in Giants' loss
New York Giants running back Paul Perkins rushed 7 times for 10 yards and caught 2 passes (2 targets) for 12 yards in a Week 2 loss to the Detroit Lions on Monday night.
Perkins led the backfield by logging 28-of-56 snaps in Week 2, but he saw just as many touches as Shane Vereen, who out-produced Perkins 55-22 in total yards. He's rushed 14 times for 26 yards this season and has extremely minimal fantasy appeal heading into a Week 3 matchup with the Philadelphia Eagles.
numberFire's models project Perkins to score 7.0 FanDuel points at a cost of $5,900 in Week 3. He's pegged for 34.7 rushing yards and 13.9 receiving yards with 0.21 touchdowns versus the Eagles, making him the RB42 in our weekly fantasy rankings.
