Giants' Janoris Jenkins (ankle) is inactive on Monday night
New York Giants cornerback Janoris Jenkins (ankle, hand) is inactive for Monday night's game versus the Detroit Lions.
Jenkins is dealing with hand and ankle injuries, but it appears to be the ankle that is in the worst shape. The cornerback tested it out during pregame warmups before the coaching staff pulled him off the field. His absence will open up more space for the Lions' passing game, particularly, Golden Tate, Kenny Golladay, and Marvin Jones.
Our models project the Giants to pull out the win 59.5% of the time, but those numbers could take a hit without their best defender.
