Markus Wheaton (finger) a long shot to play for Bears Sunday
Chicago Bears wide receiver Markus Wheaton (questionable, finger) a "much longer shot" to play Sunday against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, NFL Network's Ian Rapoport considers.
Wheaton has been practicing on a limited basis since last week, but isn't ready for game-action yet. The Bears, who are already playing without Cameron Meredith (knee, IR) and Kevin White (shoulder, IR), are going to be extremely short-handed at receiver. Kendall Wright and Deonte Thompson – as well as running back Tarik Cohen – will be the top targets on Sunday.
Our models project Wright for 6.77 FanDuel points, with 36.7 yards and 0.3 touchdowns on 2.8 catches, at a cost of $5,400 in Week 2. He's the best fantasy asset among these receivers this week in a tough matchup with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
