Danny Amendola (concussion) ruled out for Patriots on Sunday
New England Patriots wide receiver Danny Amendola has been ruled out for Sunday's road game against the New Orleans Saints, per MMQB's Albert Breer.
Amendola has been out of practice since suffered a concussion in last Thursday's game against the Kansas City Chiefs. It appeared that Amendola also suffered some type of knee injury in Week 1, so it isn't much of a surprise to see him ruled out two days ahead of the Patriots' Week 2 matchup. In his stead, look for Chris Hogan, Rex Burkhead and company to pick up his targets against the Saints.
Amendola was projected for 2.6 catches, 33.7 yards, 0.29 touchdowns and 6.4 FanDuel points prior to being ruled out. On the other hand, the Patriots' 31 points is the highest implied total of all teams this week so there should be fantasy points to go around.
