Texans' DeAndre Hopkins sees over half of the team's targets in Thursday's win
Houston Texans wide receiver DeAndre Hopkins turned 13 targets into 7 receptions and 73 yards as the Texans defeated the Cincinnati Bengals 13-9 on Thursday night.
Those 13 targets were good for 54% of the Texans' total, which comes after a Week 1 performance that saw him account for 44%. With Houston's offense lacking in playmakers, look for Hopkins' workload to remain as one the biggest in the league this season.
Hopkins and the Texans will travel to New England to take on the Patriots in Week 3. numberFire's models project him to once again see double-digit targets in that one, and project him for 87.1 receptions, 1216.4 yards and 5.5 touchdowns over the remainder of the season.
