Colts' T.Y. Hilton: winning matchups will help quarterbacks
Indianapolis Colts wide receiver T.Y. Hilton said that winning matchups will help the team's quarterbacks to perform better moving forward.
With almost everyone talking about Andrew Luck's absence, Hilton chose to focus on what he and his fellow receivers could do to help out Scott Tolzien and/or Jacoby Brissett in his stead. He said that winning one-on-one matchups and creating plays would be big for the Colts' offense to get on track.
That's great to hear, but with the question marks behind center our models are still tempering expectations here. Facing the Arizona Cardinals, Hilton is projected for 3.9 catches (on 7.3 targets), 55.6 yards and 0.47 touchdowns this week. And while still costing $7,200, his 10.3 projected FanDuel points rank 27th among all receivers.
