Eagles' Alshon Jeffery faces tough Week 2 matchup with Chiefs
Philadelphia Eagles wide receiver Alshon Jeffery has a tough Week 2 matchup with the Kansas Chiefs and star cornerback Marcus Peters.
NJ.com's Eliot Shorr-Parks suggests that Washington Redskins cornerback Josh Norman may have given Peters a blueprint for covering Jeffery. Norman lined up across from Jeffery on 17 pass plays and allowed just two catches for 16 yards. Even if Peters doesn't shadow the Eagles' top wideout, you can expect him to limit Jeffery's production this week.
After posting 3 catches for 38 yards against the Redskins, Jeffery is projected for 4.2 catches, 63.1 yards and 0.48 touchdowns on 8.2 targets. Our models expect him to contribute 11.2 FanDuel points at a cost of $6,900 in Week 2.
