Bucs' Charles Sims to help fill Doug Martin's role in Week 2
Tampa Bay Buccaneers' running back Charles Sims faces the Chicago Bears defense in Week 2.
With Doug Martin suspended, Sims will share time with Jacquizz Rodgers in the Bucs' backfield in their season opener. Tampa Bay has an implied total of 25.52 points, but will face a Bears unit that allowed just 2.8 yards per carry against the Falcons Week 1.
Our models rank Sims as the 39th-best running back in Week 2. We project him for 7.3 FanDuel points with 21.4 rushing yards, 25.5 receiving yards and 0.1 touchdowns on Sunday. He carries a price tag of $5,600 in Week 2.
