Patriots' Danny Amendola (concussion) not practicing on Wednesday
New England Patriots wide receiver Danny Amendola was absent from Wednesday's practice, according to ESPN's Mike Reiss.
After being kneed in the head during the fourth quarter of Thursday night's season opener, Amendola was placed in the concussion protocol and has yet to practice. Given Amendola's history with head injuries, this isn't a good sign for his availability in Week 2. In his absence, Chris Hogan and Phillip Dorsett would be asked to do more against the New Orleans Saints.
If Amendola suits up, we project him for 2.6 catches, 33.7 yards and 0.29 touchdowns on 3.6 targets. At $6,100 on this week's slate, his 6.4 FanDuel points would rank third among Patriots wideouts.
