Texans' C.J. Fiedorowicz (concussion) expected to miss Week 2
Houston Texans tight end C.J. Fiedorowicz (concussion) is not expected to play versus the Cincinnati Bengals in Week 2 on Thursday.
With Fiedorowicz in the NFL's concussion protocol and the Texans playing in just three days, coach Bill O'Brien does not expect Fiedorowicz to be able to suit up versus the Bengals. Houston will be extremely shorthanded on Thursday as wide receiver Bruce Ellington, linebacker Brian Cushing, and fellow tight ends Ryan Griffin and Stephen Anderson all suffered a concussion as well and will miss the Week 2 contest too.
Fiedorowicz caught 4 passes for 46 yards before exiting the Week 1 loss to the Jacksonville Jaguars.
