Rams admit Aaron Donald (holdout) unlikely for Week 1

Los Angeles Rams holdout defensive lineman Aaron Donald is unlikely to play Week 1 against the Indianapolis Colts, head coach Sean McVay admitted.

What It Means:

"It's safe to say he won't be part of this game," McVay conceded. Donald remains out indefinitely and there's been no indication that the two sides are getting any closer towards an agreement.

If he joins the team before Week 2, numberFire's models project Donald to record 52.0 tackles and 9.5 sacks this season while also deflecting 3.0 passes and making 0.1 interceptions with 1.6 forced fumbles and 0.9 recovered fumbles.
