The San Diego Chargers have re-signed tight end John Phillips.
What It Means:
The Chargers are running thin at tight end after the suspension to Antonio Gates and the possible concussion to Ladarius Green. Phillips is mainly a blocking tight end with only 35 career receptions in five seasons.
