Jets' Jermaine Kearse playing with a 'chip on his shoulder'
New York Jets' wide receiver Jermaine Kearse is out to prove something, starting with his Week 1 tilt with Buffalo.
"I've got a chip on my shoulder. I'm still hungry out here and I've got a lot of things that I want to prove," Kearse said ahead of Gang Green's Week 1 clash with the Bills. When Kearse joined New York from Seattle, he automatically became their most fantasy relevant wideout. The problem will be that the Jets' quarterback situation remains incredibly bleak.
Our models project Kearse as the 56th-best wide receiver option in Week 1. We have him pegged for 6.2 FanDuel points with 2.7 receptions, 36.8 yards and 0.2 touchdowns.
