Packers' Jordy Nelson hopes to play 'two to four more years'
Green Bay Packers wide receiver Jordy Nelson told former teammate AJ Hawk in an interview that he only wishes to play another "two to four more years."
The 32-year-old is aware that he's closer to the end of his career than not, but he still has plenty left in the tank as the number-one receiver on a prolific Packers offense. Nelson is coming off an excellent 2016 in which he had 97 receptions, 1,257 receiving yards, and 14 touchdowns. The Associated Press named him the 2016 Comeback Player of the Year.
Our projections are bullish on Nelson in Week 1 against the Seattle Seahawks. He's projected for 80.3 receiving yards and 0.8 touchdowns off 6.1 receptions. At a $7,700 price tag, we project him as a top-five wide receiver with 15.7 FanDuel points.
