Rams say Todd Gurley is 'in a good place' heading into 2017
Los Angeles Rams running back Todd Gurley "seems to be in a good place", according to running backs coach Skip Peete.
After tallying just 885 rushing yards and six touchdowns for a poor Rams offense in 2016, our models expect Gurley to bounce back with 1,032.2 rush yards and 8.52 touchdowns in the new season. His 180.0 fantasy points rank him ninth among running backs, but he could get off to a hot start against the Indianapolis Colts in Week 1.
With projections of 19.1 rushes, 76.6 rush yards and 0.78 touchdowns for the Rams' Week 1 matchup in Los Angeles, Gurley's 15.7 FanDuel points are 5th by way of our models. He's just the 10th-most expense back at $7,300.
