Panthers' Curtis Samuel (ankle) is practicing on Tuesday
Carolina Panthers rookie wide receiver Curtis Samuel returned to the practice field on Tuesday.
Samuel suffered a minor ankle injury in the Panthers' fourth and finale preseason game, but it looks like he's closer to a full-go for Week 1 against the San Francisco 49ers. That doesn't mean he'll be in for a big role even with his level of explosive talent. Behind Russell Shepard and Damiere Byrd, he's the team's fifth wideout for the time being.
At a price of $5,400, our algorithms project the versatile Samuel for 3.6 targets, 2.1 catches and 27.5 receiving yards in the first regular season game of his career. His projected 5.0 FanDuel points are pretty much a non-factor for DFS purposes.
