Eagles may look for running back upgrade over LeGarrette Blount

The Philadelphia Eagles should look for a "better solution" at running back than LeGarrette Blount, believes Zach Berman of The Philadelphia Inquirer.

What It Means:

Blount has rushed 13 times for 36 yards (2.8 yards per carry) this preseason while appearing out of place in the Eagles' offense. The veteran back turns 30 in December. Berman named Matt Jones of the Washington Redskins as a possible addition for Philadelphia's backfield.

numberFire's models project Blount to rush 166.4 times for 680.7 yards and 4.75 touchdowns this season while adding 11.4 receptions for 64.0 yards and 0.48 touchdowns. He is our 36th-ranked fantasy running back entering the year.
