Andrew Luck

Andrew Luck (shoulder) still out indefinitely for Colts

Indianapolis Colts head coach Chuck Pagano said there's still no "timeline" for quarterback Andrew Luck's (shoulder) return.

What It Means:

As the Indy Star's Stephen Holder points out on Twitter, the Colts have just six practices between now and Week 1 against the Los Angeles Rams, meaning time is running out for Luck to get back in the swing of things before games actually start to matter. Mike Chappel of IndySportsCentral thinks Week 3 against the Cleveland Browns is the most likely timeframe for Luck to get back under center for the Colts. This is all bad news for the early-season fantasy outlooks of Luck, T.Y. Hilton, Donte Moncrief, Frank Gore, Jack Doyle, and any other relevant skill-position player in Indianapolis.

numberFire's models still expect Luck to be active in Week 1, and for the season as a whole, we project him to complete 323.6 passes for 3,824.6 yards with 29.64 touchdown tosses and 13.29 interceptions while adding another 311.7 rushing yards and 2.87 scores on the ground. He currently stands as the QB8 in our season-long fantasy rankings.
