Jalen Richard remains second on Raiders' depth chart
Oakland Raiders running back Jalen Richard remains second, behind Marshawn Lynch on the running back depth chart.
Despite coming into both preseason games behind DeAndre Washington, Richard is still listed as the backup to Marshawn Lynch. Both Richard and Washington have struggled to gain traction this preseason and would likely split the carries if Lynch were to be sidelined at any point this season. However, Richard does hold some standalone value as the best pass catcher out of the backfield.
Our models project Richard for just 278.2 rushing yards but also 26.4 catches for 203.0 receiving yards in 2017.
