Texans' C.J. Fiedorowicz (quad) close to returning to action
Houston Texans tight end C.J. Fiedorowicz (quad) is close to returning to practice after sitting out all week and missing Saturday's preseason game versus the New England Patriots.
Fiedorowicz has been dealing with the quad injury for a while but is expected to return to practice soon. He is questionable to play in Saturday's preseason game against the New Orleans Saints. The fourth-year tight end is coming off a career-year where he recorded 54 catches for 559 yards and 4 touchdowns in 2016.
Our models project Fiedorowicz as the 23rd-best tight end in standards leagues with 55.3 catches, 554.5 yards, and 3.2 touchdowns in 2017.
