Raiders' Marshawn Lynch feeling no ill-effects after a year away from football
Oakland Raiders running back Marshawn Lynch didn't miss a single day of training camp, saying that his "body is feeling pretty good."
What It Means:
Only time will tell if a year away from football will have rejuvenated the 31-year-old Lynch or have made him rusty, but history is not on the side of running backs over 30, and the late second-round price-tag on Lynch in fantasy football (per FantasyFootballCalculator seems to be largely ignoring that concern.
numberFire's models project Lynch for 703.3 yards and 5.4 touchdowns on 174.4 carries as well as 296.6 yards and 1.1 touchdowns on 36.8 receptions this season. He is our 20th-ranked running back for fantasy purposes.
