Falcons' Devonta Freeman in concussion protocol
Atlanta Falcons running back Devonta Freeman is in the team's concussion protocol, according to the Falcons' Kelsey Conway.
Coach Dan Quinn said Monday that Freeman entered the protocol and will not play in the next preseason game. The running back had left Sunday's practice with what he said were heat issues, but it appears that a head injury is the concern for Atlanta. He will get his rest and look to be ready for Week 1 of the regular season.
numberFire's models project Freeman for 1,504 total yards and 11.4 scores in 2017. As it stands right now, our draft kit has him as RB4 and the 4th-best commodity in all of fantasy football.
