Laquon Treadwell will not appear in Vikings' preseason opener
Minnesota Vikings wide receiver Laquon Treadwell is sitting out the preseason opener after getting injured in a practice fight last week.
Treadwell was evidently injured in a training camp scuffle last Monday. He hasn't practiced since. It's a bitterly disappointing development for a player who seemed to be making progress after a lost rookie year. It's unclear when Treadwell might return, though he's likely day-to-day.
Our models project Treadwell for 245 receiving yards and 1.66 touchdowns on 18 receptions in 2017, as our 111th-best fantasy wide receiver. He's still projected as Minnesota's third receiver, but that's a role that is not highly fantasy-relevant.
