Derek Carr targeting Jared Cook often in Raiders' camp
Oakland Raiders quarterback Derek Carr has been targeting tight end Jared Cook "often" during camp, the San Francisco Chronicle's Vic Tafur reports.
Oakland targeted their tight ends on just 14 percent of their attempts last season, the third-lowest rate in the league. "We haven’t really gotten our tight-end position going as much as I’d like," head coach Jack Del Rio said. "I think you’re going to see a team that can utilize the tight-end position more in their offensive plan and attack." Carr also is happy with the new addition, saying Cook's speed gives the team more versatility.
Our models project Cook for 49 receptions for 518 receiving yards and 3.76 touchdowns, as our 22nd-best tight end for fantasy purposes.
