Brian Hoyer looking sharp in 49ers' practices
San Francisco 49ers quarterback Brian Hoyer has looked "very sharp" in training camp so far.
After a shaky minicamp, Hoyer has found his groove in training camp. Some of this has come against the 49ers' second-team defense, but the overall positive reports are encouraging. On a team bound to play from behind very frequently in 2017, Hoyer could have fantasy streaming potential during bye weeks.
Our models project Hoyer for 513 passing attempts, good for 3,528 yards, 19.27 touchdowns, and 17.11 interceptions. The key to his fantasy value will be volume of attempts.
