Dolphins mum on Ryan Tannehill's (knee) status Friday
Miami Dolphins head coach Adam Gase didn't provide any update on the status of quarterback Ryan Tannehill (knee) on Friday morning.
What It Means:
The Dolphins are still waiting to make a decision, Gase said, but he acknowledged that surgery is an option, as is rest and rehab. For now, Matt Moore will be the starter under center in place of Tannehill.
Among the 39 passers to drop back 100 times last season, Tannehill ranked 22nd in Passing Net Expected Points per drop back. His 67.1 completion percentage was a career-high. If healthy, numberFire's models have him as the 21st-ranked fantasy quarterback entering 2017.
